Position Overview: Junior Associate Project Manager

This full-time role is ideal for a proactive, detail-oriented professional who is eager to learn and contribute to the seamless execution of client projects. The Associate Project Manager at Marketwake is responsible for supporting the execution and delivery of projects under the guidance of the Project Manager. This role involves coordinating cross-functional teams, managing timelines, and ensuring quality deliverables. The Associate PM acts as the key connector in assisting the Project Manager to manage creative, account, and client needs, facilitating clear communication and efficient workflows while maintaining a high standard of excellence.

Responsibilities

  • Project Coordination: Support the planning, execution, and delivery of projects by coordinating timelines, deliverables, and communication among team members.

  • Task Ownership: Take initiative to own tasks and projects, ensuring quality and timely completion.

  • Timeline Management: Track Asana timelines and project milestones to ensure projects remain on schedule.

  • Cross-Department Collaboration: Work closely with creative, account, and client-facing teams to align project goals and expectations.

  • Communication: Facilitate clear, concise communication across all project stakeholders, ensuring alignment on deliverables and timelines.

  • Problem Solving: Identify potential project challenges and proactively work with the Project Manager to develop solutions.

  • Attention to Detail: Ensure all aspects of a project are accurate, complete, and in alignment with client expectations.

  • Client Engagement Support: Assist in client meetings by capturing action items, following up on deliverables, and maintaining communication.

  • Team Support: Provide organizational and administrative support to Project Managers to keep projects running smoothly.

  • Professional Development: Pursue continuous learning opportunities, including certifications, industry reading, and training to enhance skills and knowledge.

  • Adaptability: Respond to changes in project scope, timelines, or priorities with a flexible, solution-focused approach.

Qualifications

  • A bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, communications, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with a client-focused mindset.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to think strategically and provide meaningful input in client interactions.
  • A proactive, solution-oriented approach with a positive attitude.
  • Strong time management skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks effectively.
  • Passion for digital marketing and eagerness to learn and grow in the industry.
  • Familiarity with project management tools and client communication platforms is a plus.
  • Must live in Atlanta, GA (Hybrid)
