SIM is looking for associates who are dedicated, highly-motivated and possess a strong passion for teaching and shaping the minds of the young generation. Candidates will be expected to deliver the course content in a 3-hour lecture format on a weekly basis, and manage assessment marking within a given deadline. They will work closely with the course coordinator based in the partner university to achieve the desired students’ outcome.
Module: Unmanned Aerial System Operations
This Unmanned Aerial System Operations course provides students with an overview on Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS) and how they are operated in the segregated airspace. Both Line of Sight (LOS) and Beyond Line of Sight (BLOS) operations are explored. The regulatory requirements are also explored to allow for safe operation and integration into the available airspace.

Classes are mostly conducted during weekday evening from 7.00pm to 10.00pm.
Teaching information:
1) To teach the 6 required sessions of a 3-hour lecture for once a week.
2) To set, coach and mark assessments
Job Requirements
- A Master’s degree or higher in an aviation or related field will be preferred.
- Must have industry experience in airport master planning.
- Academic teaching experience is preferred but not compulsory.
- A professional certification in Project Management will be an added advantage with exposure in project management in the aviation environment.
- Able to teach evening classes on weekday or day classes on Saturday.
