We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Associate Director, Financial Operations Manager.

Principal responsibilities

Financial management

  • Manage ASP CTO financials including direct cost booking,  recharge review , rate setting and recovery.
  • Ensure timely and accurate cost recognision, complete monthly Cadency reconciliations in  line with accounting policy and adherence to operational risk control framework
  • Review direct cost monthly, perform variance analysis, and proactively raise insights, risks and corrective actions.
  • Provide clear executive summaries and management updates, supporting decision-making .
  • Partner with CTO leaders and business managers to provide commercial advice, using operational metrics to improve efficiency and outcomes.
  • Influence stakeholders to implement new policies/guidelines, using strong coordination, negotiation and judgement.

Stakeholder engagement (local customers & global teams)

  • Improve cost transparency and support customers with cost management while managing expectations.
  • Act as the primary Finance interface for China Technology stakeholders, partnering closely with global teams.
  • Coordinate across Finance, Procurement, Vendor Management and CTO teams to deliver end-to-end finance outcomes.
  • Translate finance requirements into practical actions for Technology teams, ensuring alignment to governance, timelines and deliverables.

Local regulatory & governance fulfilment (China)

  • Ensure finance operations meet local statutory/regulatory requirements, including audit readiness and documentation standards.
  • Maintain strong controls in Risk/Compliance to remediate issues on time.
  • Maintain evidence packs and governance artefacts to support audits, inspections and internal reviews.

Wider financial support to ASP markets

  • Play a key role in the China Finance Operations to ensure consistent service delivery across ASP markets.
  • Manage core workflows (e.g., accruals, forecasting, actual vs forecast) to ensure cost booking accuracy and timeliness.
  • Build team capability through standard work, documentation, training and continuous improvement.

Process simplification & continuous improvement

  • Identify pain points, duplication and manual activities across CTO Infrastructure finance processes.
  • Drive simplification, standardisation and automation (where feasible) to improve efficiency, strengthen controls and enhance transparency.

 

Requirements

  • Strong experience in technology/infrastructure cost management.
  • Demonstrable people leadership experience leading a team.
  • Effective stakeholder leadership and influence across CTO, Finance, Procurement, Vendor Management and global teams; able to translate finance requirements into practical delivery.
  • Solid command of controls, operational risk and China regulatory/governance.
  • Continuous improvement mindset—simplifies and standardises processes, AI and new tools adoption.
