The Position

The Associate Director, Consumer Media, Omnichannel & Performance Strategy is a strategic consumer marketing leader responsible for helping shape and execute the consumer marketing strategy for the brand. This role translates brand priorities, consumer insights, market dynamics, and business objectives into integrated marketing plans that include audience strategy, media, channel activation, measurement, and optimization. As a key member of the Consumer Marketing team, this role ensures that media and omnichannel strategy serve the broader marketing objectives by helping the brand reach, engage, educate, and motivate priority consumer audiences to drive engagement, strengthen brand impact, and support business goals. This position reports to the Director, Consumer Marketing.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development of media, audience, and omnichannel strategies that connect brand priorities to measurable consumer engagement and business outcomes.

  • Define priority audiences, audience behaviors, targeting approaches, channel roles, sequencing, reach and frequency considerations, and investment recommendations.

  • Lead paid, owned, social, search, CRM, website, video, and other digital channel planning in partnership with media agencies, platform partners, analytics, and internal teams.

  • Develop the measurement framework, KPI approach, dashboard requirements, test-and-learn priorities, optimization plan, and performance reporting cadence.

  • Evaluate campaign performance across media, social, website, search, CRM, video, and other channels to identify actionable optimization opportunities.

  • Pressure-test campaign ideas to determine whether they can be effectively activated, measured, optimized, scaled, and sequenced across channels.

  • Make recommendations on channel mix, media investment, audience targeting, content sequencing, website flow, performance improvements, and test-and-learn priorities.

  • Partner with Medical, Legal, Regulatory, Compliance, and Promotion Review Team partners to ensure digital and media assets are compliant, review-ready, operationally executable, and appropriately measured.

Required Education, Experience & Skills

  • BA/BS degree required. MBA or equivalent advanced degree preferred

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in consumer marketing, media strategy, omnichannel marketing, digital marketing, performance marketing, analytics, or a related discipline.

  • Strong understanding of paid media, owned channels, social media, search, CRM, websites, measurement, audience targeting, and campaign optimization.

  • Demonstrated ability to lead agency partners and cross-functional teams in the development and execution of integrated consumer marketing plans.

  • Ability to interpret performance data, develop test-and-learn plans, and translate analytics into clear strategic recommendations.

  • Experience operating in a regulated environment, with the ability to partner effectively with Medical, Legal, Regulatory, Compliance, and Promotion Review stakeholders.
