Position Summary:

Under general supervision, the Associate DevOps Engineer contributes to the development, deployment, and support of TMHCC’s application stack and DevOps toolchain. This role focuses on building technical skills while performing hands-on work in automation, CI/CD pipelines, and monitoring. The Associate DevOps Engineer collaborates with IT teams to deliver reliable and efficient technology solutions, with opportunities to take on progressively more complex responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with building, configuring, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines to support application deployments.
  • Contribute to automation efforts for infrastructure, monitoring, and application processes.
  • Troubleshoot basic issues with builds, deployments, and application reliability under guidance from senior team members.
  • Collaborate with developers, QA, and operations teams to support application delivery and quality improvements.
  • Help configure and administer DevOps tools (GitHub, Jira, Dynatrace, etc.).
  • Monitor application and infrastructure performance and escalate issues appropriately.
  • Document technical processes, configurations, and troubleshooting steps.
  • Other assignments as needed and assigned
  • Continue developing technical expertise through training and mentorship.

Education, Experience & Knowledge:

  • 4 Year / Bachelors Degreein Information Technology, Computer Science, CIS, or related field, or the equivalent education and/or experience
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Good organizational and analytical skills; demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • General knowledge of application development, QA process, DevOps, Data Analytics (GitHub, Dynatrace, Jira knowledge is a plus)
  • Basic scripting ability (PowerShell, Python, Bash, or similar).
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS a plus).
  • Hybrid work schedule – 3 days in the Kennesaw, GA office, 2 days remote
