Works with the department leadership to accomplish compliance, agency expectations, employee accountability with Program Planning and Development, Community Relations and Workforce Development. Oversee the development and implementation of new processes to streamline management of C1 dually supervised staff throughout the state. Maintain alignment with the agency mission and strategic plan as well as CALEA. Participates in special deployments and any other law enforcement duties as ordered by the department. </span></p><br><span style="color: inherit">A bachelor's degree and relevant program management experience. Experience in supervising the activities of a probation and parole staff and establishing effective relationships with community stakeholders.</span><br><br><p style="margin: 0"><strong><span style="color: inherit">NECESSARY SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:</span></strong><span style="color: inherit"> Certification by the Law Enforcement Training Council in accordance with 23-23-40 of the Code of Laws of South Carolina 1976.</span></p><br><span style="color: inherit"><strong style="color: inherit; font-style: normal; text-indent: 0"><span style="color: inherit"><strong style="font-weight: 700; color: inherit; font-style: normal; text-indent: 0; text-align: left">NOTE: Must be currently Class 1 (C -1) certified law enforcement officer from the South Carolina Criminal Justice Academy.</strong> </span></strong></span><br><br><p style="margin: 0; text-align: justify"><br></p><br><br><p style="margin: 0; text-align: justify"><span style="color: inherit">Three years of experience in supervising the activities of a probation and parole staff, and establishing effective relationships with community stakeholders. </span></p><br><undefined><br></undefined><br><p style="margin: 0"><strong>Please note:</strong> This is an entirely on-site, in-office position.</p><br><p style="margin: 0"><strong><span style="color: inherit">NECESSARY SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:</span></strong><span style="color: inherit"> Certification by the Law Enforcement Training Council in accordance with 23-23-40 of the Code of Laws of South Carolina 1976.</span></p><br><strong>SCDPPPS DISCIPLINARY ACTIONS ARE CONSIDERED DURING THE INTERVIEW PHASE.</strong><br><br>Please complete the state application to include current and previous work history and education.
