Within Advisory, PwC has a large team (GovTech) that focus on transformation in Government through
Digital inclusion. The open position is for a candidate who desires to work with government clients and
bring about a change in society. A successful candidate will be expected to work pro-actively and
effectively on multiple client engagements over the period of time and take ownership of the entire
project delivery he/she entrusted with.
Broad Role / Responsibilities
We are looking for a QA Tester with 5+ years of testing experience to assess software quality through
manual and automated testing.
 Review and analyse system specifications.
 Collaborate with QA Engineers to develop effective strategies and test plans.
 Execute test cases (manual or automated) and analyse results.
 Evaluate product code according to specifications.
 Create logs to document testing phases and defects.
 Report bugs and errors to development teams
 Help troubleshoot issues/bugs.
 Conduct post-release/ post-implementation testing.
 Work with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development
lifecycle

Broad Experience & Expertise Requirements
 We are looking for a Test Engineer/QA with 5+ years of experience in Testing domain.
 Exposure to Test Environment, Preparing Test Bench setup and analysing requirements.
 Strong logical analytical skills to understand complex business requirements.
 Experience in ETL Testing, Functional Testing, System Testing and Regression Testing.
 Experience in Performance Testing using JMeter/LoadRunner.
 Testing Lifecycle Management, Issue Tracking using popular tools like JTrac/Bugzilla etc.
 Experience in Test cases, Test Script and Test Plan preparation
Educational Qualifications
 BE/BTech/MCA from reputed institution/university
Certifications (added advantage)
Personality traits (a must)
 Strong communications skills, both written and verbal
 Ability to handle complex assignment independently
 Ability to work with ambiguity. Taking a systematic, structured view of situations.
 Ability to interact with client (senior government officials)
 Demonstrating willingness to ‘get hands dirty’ and developing a problem-solving attitude
 Strong personal and professional presence and self-confidence, capable of working effectively with
senior team as well as all other levels.
