Job Description:

Be a key contact of point for Tianjin and Beijing for local key stakeholders, including supply chain, bank, tax authority and other local authorities. Responsible for AR and Tax, and Ensures that activities in various areas of responsibility (AR and tax) are carried out in compliance with legal requirements and company procedures.

Main responsibilities / job expectations

AR Management

  • Ensures accounts receivable is accurate and in compliance with credit policy and distributor agreement.
  • Ensures that the system setting is compliant  with the Annual credit policy.
  • Work with local key stakeholders  to evaluate the credit level of all customers on yearly basis
  • Set up credit limits and credit terms by customer or product and ensure compliance and reporting of result
  • Collaborates with commercial team to take actions on receivable collections, analyze credit write-downs on a daily basis and propose write-offs.
  • Ensures Account Receivables are collected on time
  • Prepares budget and forecast on DSO and provide monitoring reports and analysis on DSO for management to take decisions and actions

Tax

  • Leads the monthly, quarterly and annual tax filing for entities in Tianjin and Beijing, including CIT,VAT, surcharges and stamp duty
  • Ensures accuracy, timeliness, and completeness of all tax filings to avoid penalties
  • Prepares TP local files for Ipsen China to ensure compliance with independent‑arm‑length principle
  • Proactively identifies and assess tax risks, and establishes mitigation measures
  • Develops and implements internal tax control procedures to prevent exposure to tax disputes or penalties
  • Serves as primary liaison with tax authorities on daily inquiries, consultations, and audits
  • Prepares documentation and coordinates responses for the requests from local tax bureau
  •  Maintains a positive and constructive relationship with the tax bureau to safeguard the company’s interest

Accounting

  • Collaborates with supply chain to make sure that monthly closing of sales is on time and in compliance with Ipsen accounting policy and local regulations.
  • In charge of billing and invoicing
  • Supports the preparation of financial statements, statutory reports, audit documents and any other information requested by local authorities

Knowledge, abilities & experience

Education / Certifications:  

Minimum: 

  • Bachelor on Accounting/Finance related majors
  • Certificate:  Accountant qualification certificate is a must

Experience:

  • Above 5 years of relevant accounting experience, preferred in AR management and Tax
  • Experience in dealing with local authorities
  • Knowledge of IFRS and local statutory and tax matters
  • In-depth experience in working in cross-functional and remote teams
  • Good analytical and reporting skills
  • Good communication skills to address financial issues to non-finance people

Languages:

  • Mandarin, English
