JOB SUMMARY 

 Reporting to the head coach, this position’s primary responsibility is to aid the head coach in day to day operations of the XCTF program. 

 

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

  •  Provide instruction for practice and meets/races 

  • Assist in creation of practice plans 

  • Assist in execution of race strategies 

  • Prepare and Analyze match film breakdown 

  • Identify highly qualified prospective student athletes 

  • Scout opponents and provide reports to team 

  • Other duties as assigned.  

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS 

  • Previous Coaching Experience (1-2 years preferred) 

  • Collegiate running experience

WORK ENVIRONMENT & CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL DEMANDS 

  • 9 Month Position 

  • 12-18 hours/week 

  • May be required to lift up to 50 pounds 

  • Position requires work on weekends and/or nights 

  • Travel with the team during season is expected
