Assistant Waiter/ Waitress

As an Assistant Waiter/Waitress, you will play a vital role in ensuring our guests receive the highest level of service in our luxurious dining outlets. You will work closely with the waitstaff to deliver an exceptional dining experience, assisting in all areas of service, from setting tables to serving food and beverages. Your attention to detail, commitment to providing outstanding service, and ability to anticipate guest needs will help create memorable moments for our guests.

Responsibilities

• Assist the waitstaff in servicing diners, including taking orders, serving food and beverages, and clearing tables efficiently.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining areas, including preparing tables for new guests.
• Provide welcoming and attentive service, ensuring a warm and inviting atmosphere for all guests.
• Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure timely and accurate delivery of orders.
• Communicate clearly with the waitstaff regarding any special requests or guest needs.
• Assist in setting up and breaking down dining space for special events and functions.
• Foster a strong team environment by working closely with colleagues and supporting various departments when necessary.
• Adhere to all health, safety, and hygiene regulations to maintain a safe dining environment.

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar role within the hospitality industry, preferably in a luxury hotel or fine dining setting.
• Strong customer service skills with a focus on providing an exceptional guest experience.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude and professionalism.
• Excellent communication skills in both Greek and English; other languages are a plus.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to various service styles and dining preferences.
• Team-oriented attitude with the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues.
