Job Description

The role is a predominantly sales role, focused on creating and maximising all sales opportunities in the area of payroll accounts acquisition through corporate tie-ups. You will be establishing strong relationships with customers and their employees, providing a tailored personal banking package on site at workplaces. You will market, promote and sell the bank’s entire suite of products through quality service delivery, performance excellence and risk management. Your typical point-of-sale is at corporate locations and events, and your primary mode of interaction and sales will be face-to-face. You are required to focus on delivering results that are mutually beneficial to all stakeholders and assisting customers in achieving their financial goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Empanel assigned and/or self-sourced companies into the Workplace Banking portfolio with the primary aim of onboarding company employees into the Workplace Banking programme for salary crediting with UOB and cross-selling of other bank products.

  • Drive profitable AUM volume growth from existing and new customers by proactively engaging, understanding and meeting their needs with the full range of UOB retail banking products.

  • Collaborate with Corporate RMs to introduce Workplace Banking value propositions to senior stakeholders and key decision makers from referred corporations.

  • Work closely with Customer Value Proposition Manager and Marketing Manager to customize and design differentiated package offerings for specific companies.

  • Work closely with acquisition managers and product specialists from various sales teams to maximize overall product cross-selling at Workplace Banking events.

Job Requirements:

  • Minimum 8 years of experience in sales or sales-related role

  • Able to work both independently and in a team setting

  • Great presentation and great communication skills

  • Able to work under stress and sales target

  • Business to Business skill sets are a plus

  • Able to cold call effectively
