Compensation: $50,000–$55,000 base + up to 10% bonus

The Opportunity

The Assistant Studio Manager, South Boston is a full-time leadership position. As the Assistant Studio Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in leading and managing the daily operations of B/SPOKE South Boston location. You will focus on ensuring the studio's smooth operation, exceptional customer experience, adherence to brand standards and managing a high-performance team while maintaining a positive team culture. Below are your key responsibilities + accountabilities:

Staff Management:

  • Assist in recruiting, training, and developing front desk staff, ensuring they are knowledgeable, motivated, and solution-oriented. Foster a culture of teamwork, feedback, and continuous growth.
  • Assist in conducting quarterly syncs and providing regular feedback to the front desk team to support their development and growth.
  • Oversee staff scheduling, including coordination of monthly fixed schedules and shift swaps.
  • Act as a leader and liaison within the team, aligning them with the company mission, goals, and initiatives.
  • Foster a positive and supportive team culture.

Revenue Generation:

  • Handle tasks related to retail management, including receiving, sorting, tagging, and distribution of merchandise.
  • Monitor online orders and manage the Shopify platform.
  • Oversee front desk staff payroll, reviewing, auditing, and approving bi-weekly.
  • Support implementing sales and marketing strategies to acquire and retain new customers, including targeted client outreach

Customer Service + Hospitality:

  • Help maintain a welcoming and inclusive environment for clients.
  • Address client inquiries, complaints, and issues promptly and professionally, ensuring their satisfaction and loyalty.

Facility Management:

  • Ensure the studio is clean, well-maintained, and supplied with necessary equipment.
  • Process implementation and accountability
  • Safety equipment maintenance & inventory
  • Audio diagnostics & maintenance
  • Cleaning Schedules and Cleaning Team Management
  • Equipment diagnostics
  • Inventory/Supply ordering, planning & organization

Analytics and Reporting:

  • Help track and analyze key metrics related to studio performance, client engagement, and marketing efforts.
  • Assist in creating regular reports to provide insights into the effectiveness of various initiatives.
  • Aid in tracking revenue, managing budgets, and reporting financial performance to senior leadership.
  • Assist in identifying opportunities to improve profitability and efficiency.

Additional Expectations:

  • Hours/week: 40 hours/week (shift responsibilities may vary based upon studio needs).
  • Flexible work schedule
  • Availability for weekday shifts (AM/Noon/PM), weekends, and holidays including support with weekend/holiday on-call schedule
  • Active participation in the B/SPOKE Brand (e.g., regularly taking classes and participating in internal and external events)
