Assistant Store Manager - Warehouse Stationery, Napier

Kia ora, are you ready to take the next step into leadership? We're on the hunt for a great Assistant Store Manager to join one of our teams and honestly, if you love retail and get a kick out of leading people, this could be the move for you. 

You'll work alongside your Store Manager to help run the show, driving sales, keeping the team motivated, and making sure every customer walks out happier than when they came in. It's a hands-on role, no two days the same, and your leadership will make a real, visible difference to how the store performs. What you'll be doing:

• Helping drive sales, service and store performance 

• Coaching, training and developing your team so everyone can do their best work 

• Stepping up to run the store when your Store Manager is away 

• Keeping the shop floor running smoothly  from opening up to closing down 

• Creating a great experience for every customer who walks through the door 

• Helping recruit and onboard new team members 

• Championing health and safety, so everyone gets home safe every day 

What you'll bring:

• 2+ years' retail experience under your belt 

• Ideally 1+ years' experience leading or supervising a team 

• Great communication skills you can talk to anyone, from customers to your crew 

• Confidence with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) at an intermediate level 

• A can-do attitude, resilience, and a genuine passion for developing people 

• The drive to keep learning, keep improving, and keep pushing yourself forward
