Job Summary

The Assistant Restaurant Manager supports the Restaurant Manager in overseeing the daily operations of the restaurant. This role ensures exceptional customer service, maintains food quality and safety standards, supervises staff, and helps achieve sales and profitability goals while creating a positive dining experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in managing daily restaurant operations.
• Supervise and motivate front-of-house and back-of-house staff.
• Schedule employee shifts and manage attendance.
• Train new employees and provide ongoing coaching.
• Ensure excellent customer service and promptly resolve customer complaints.
• Monitor food quality, cleanliness, and compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Assist with inventory management, ordering supplies, and controlling food and labor costs.
• Handle cash management, register balancing, and daily sales reports.
• Support hiring, onboarding, and employee performance evaluations.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and local regulations.
• Help achieve sales targets and improve operational efficiency.
• Step in for the Restaurant Manager during absences.
