When you work with us, you get to unleash your inner child. Think: messy art, science experiments, sports showdowns, cooking classes, and plenty of silly games. No two days are the same – and that’s how we like it!

As an Assistant Programme Manager, you’ll be the friendly face that makes the mornings & afternoons unforgettable for children. You’ll be working a minimum of 10 hours per week, rostered across Monday to Friday

  • Be the superstar running our sKids programmes day-to-day – from set-up to smooth operations – while building awesome relationships with our school communities
  • Supervise and join Tamariki in awesome activities like arts & crafts, sports, games, offsite adventures (swimming, walks, picnics, movies), baking, drama, and music
  • Lead safe, fun, and engaging sessions that keep kids buzzing while making sure everything runs smoothly
  • Be the friendly, go-to face for parents and schools, keeping communication warm and positive
  • Guide, support, and inspire your team to shine and bring their best every day
  • Arrive early to prep activities, co-ordinate Programme Assistants, and set up resources for a smooth start

Perks & Benefits

  • 50% discount on selected sKids programmes – perfect for your own children!
  • Referral bonus – bring awesome people into our team and earn up to $250 per referral
  • Work-life balance – no weekend work and the middle of the day free for your own time
  • Employee Assistance Programme – access wellbeing support when you need it
  • A fun, supportive crew who love what they do and celebrate each other’s wins

We’d love to hear from you if you:

  • Have the right to work in New Zealand (valid visa or citizenship)
  • Can get to our Glenfield site with reliable transportation and/or a vehicle
  • Bring your enthusiasm and leadership for working with kids – whether through coaching, teaching, mentoring, or running activities, you know how to inspire and guide Tamariki
  • Have proven experience leading or organising before & after school programmes (or similar children’s services) is a big plus – we’re looking for someone who can manage operations, people, and create awesome experiences for kids
  • Are over the age of 20 years old, in order to comply with Social Security (Childcare Assistance) Regulations 2004.
