The Rosemead School of Psychology at Biola University invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor of Psychology position beginning August 2026. We are seeking a dynamic individual who will join our faculty in contributing to the training of future psychologists through teaching, clinical training, research mentorship, and the integration of faith and psychology.

Qualifications

·    PhD or PsyD in Psychology from an APA-accredited program, Clinical Psychology/PhD preferred.

·       Licensed (or license-eligible) in the state of California

·       Strong record or potential for excellence in teaching, clinical supervision, and research

·       Commitment to mentoring and supporting students, including undergraduate and doctoral students

·       Demonstrated interest in and capacity to integrate psychology and Christian theology

Candidates who bring diverse perspectives and a commitment to Christian higher education are encouraged to apply. Candidate interest in leadership and clinical training will also be viewed favorably. 

Role and Responsibilities

·       Teach courses in both graduate and undergraduate programs (area of expertise negotiable)

·       Contribute to the clinical training and professional development of doctoral students

·       Engage in scholarship that reflects both scientific rigor and a commitment to the integration of Psychology and Christian Theology

·       Participate in departmental service, professional development, and spiritual community life
