Assistant Professor of Economics

Southeastern Louisiana University’s Department of Management & Business Administration invites applications for a tenure-track position in Business Administration (Economics/Business Economics/Financial Economics) at the rank of Assistant/Associate Professor. The successful candidate will teach undergraduate/graduate Business Administration or Economics courses, engage in scholarly research/professional activities sufficient to establish and maintain AACSB qualifications, and provide service to the department, college, and university.

Required Qualifications:
Candidates for appointment at the Assistant/Associate Professor level must have completed an earned doctorate in Business Administration/Economics or closely related field from an AACSB-accredited university by the start date.

Preferred Qualifications:
Additional consideration will be given to applicants with specializations and interests in financial or business economics and data analytics. Successful teaching experience and an established or demonstrated potential for an active research program are desired.
