Position Summary

The Department of Food Science and Human Nutrition is seeking applications for a part-time instructor for the Food Science & Human Nutrition Program.

Salary Range

$25,000 to $35,000 annual 0.5 FTE

Essential Job Duties

  • Teach one or more courses in one of our three undergraduate programs

  • Assess student progress

  • Provide student feedback

  • Develop new course materials

Conditions of Employment

Pre-employment criminal background check (required for new hires)

Supervision

This position will report to the Department Head.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in a related field

  • 1-2 years Teaching Experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working in university setting

  • Experience designing new college-level courses

  • Registered Dietitian Nutritionist
