Corning’s Display Technologies segment manufactures glass substrates for active matrix liquid crystal displays (“LCDs”) that are used primarily in LCD televisions, notebook computers and flat panel desktop monitors.
Role Purpose
This position will support regional manufacturing operations in Display China on below:
- Regional MFG Finance cost analysis to support cost management objectives
- Improve MFG finance processes/procedures
- Ensure compliance to internal/external control requirements
Key Responsibilities
- Support manufacturing finance reporting, planning, forecasting and analysis
- Regional MFG Finance process excellence initiatives: inventory, capital spending controls, and cost management initiative
- Regional MFG Finance serve as a finance liaison with cross-functional and regional/divisional teams
- Support internal control compliance
- Other ad hoc works or projects assigned
Experiences/Education - Required
- Bachelor’s degree or above, major in accounting or financial management related
- 8+ years’ progressive experience in finance field
- 3+ years’ experience of supervisor role
- Experience of Big 4 or manufacturing cost management is preferred
- CPA or ACCA or CMA is preferred
- Solid knowledge of accounting principles and processes
- Be familiar with manufacture cost management and plant operation
- Good analytical skill with business insights and influence
- Ability to lead and motivate team
- Good communication skills and ability to work across functions
- Ability to communicate in both Chinese & English fluently and effectively
- Advanced Excel and presentation skills are required
- Take accountability and business result oriented
- Quick learner
- Highly self-motivated with performance standard
- Strong business partnership and influence skill
- Meet time pressure and multitask deliverable with good quality
Experiences/Education - Desired
- Digital skill
- Experience with SAP/ERP is preferred.
