The Transport Coordinator will fulfill the important role to ensure staff is using the applicable systems to book their transport and manage the transport vendors to provide safe and reliable transport as and when required.
Responsibilities will include the following:
Contract Management
:Ensure services providers adhere to SLAs and SOW as per agreed contract.
Budget Reconciliation:Verify transport invoices in line with services delivered and track against campaign budgets to monitor Month to date spend
Admin Functions:Maintain and update Transport user list on a regular basis and flag any anomalies with management.
Review reports in terms of route deviations, speeding, low driver and user ratings etc.
Respond to all Transport related request from business via relevant medium.
Communicate any Transport changes in a timely and professional manner
Planning and Efficiency:
Be present during night shift pickups at various sites on a rotational basis.
Ensure business is aware how to book transport and to use all relevant apps.
Track vehicle efficiencies to ensure maximum usage per trip.
Health and Safety
:Ensure drivers and vehicles are in a good condition and managing health and safety matters that may arise.
Be familiar with ISO requirements, monitor, and manage it accordingly.
Qualifications Required
Essential
• Matric/Grade 12 Certificate
• Driver’s license and own vehicle
• Sober habits
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIRED
Experience Required

• Previous experience in the Transport industry will be advantageous
