Job description

The Student and Academic Services Department (SASD) is a dedicated team committed to delivering comprehensive support across the entire student life cycle—from admission and matriculation to graduation and beyond the classroom. SASD works collaboratively with schools, colleges, and autonomous institutes to ensure a seamless and enriching academic journey for all students.

This position sits with the Office of Global Education and Mobility (OGEM), which is responsible for developing, managing and implementing exchange/ immersion programmes for NTU students and for incoming students from other Universities. The successful candidate will be part of the team that supports international students participating in the Semester & Short-Term Inbound Programmes. In addition to this, the incumbent will also support in generic administrative duties for the office.  

Key responsibilities: 

  • Ensure the processes for inbound programmes are delivered according to schedule.

  • Process inbound applications for Global Education & Mobility (GEM) Trailblazer Programme. 

  • Manage communication with inbound students’ and partner universities to address enquiries.

  • Engage students for recruitment and provide assistance and support to students.

  • Collate and ensure accuracy of inbound mobility data for reporting and analysis.

  • Monitor the financial transactions and assist with budgeting, accrual, reporting, etc.

  • Provide guidance to colleagues on purchasing procedures.

  • Ensure office materials and resources are available for staff usage.

  • Administrative duties for OGEM – sourcing and procurement of office supplies, finance/budget tracking, onboarding of new staff, manage Director’s calendar.

Job Requirements:

  • Degree in any discipline with at least 3 years of experience in administrative and/or student services related roles 

  • Excellent organizational skills and detail-oriented to ensure accurate data is reported. 

  • Customer-oriented mindset, with a commitment to delivering responsive, supportive, and high-quality service to students

  • Strong command of written and verbal communication, with the ability to tailor messages to different audiences.

  • Prior experience in student services, programme administration, or international education is an advantage.
