About the Role

We are looking for an organised and proactive Assistant Manager to support the institute’s communications, events, and operational activities. This role works closely with internal stakeholders and leadership to ensure effective coordination, high-quality delivery, and smooth day‑to‑day operations.

The position offers meaningful exposure to institutional initiatives and provides opportunities to contribute to process improvement and stakeholder engagement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide end‑to‑end administrative and operational coordination support across communications, events, and outreach activities

  • Support the development, editing, and dissemination of communications materials, including digital and online platforms

  • Coordinate the planning and execution of events, including logistics, stakeholder coordination, and post‑event follow‑up

  • Liaise with internal teams, university offices, and external partners to ensure timely delivery of activities and tasks

  • Support financial and operational processes, including basic budgeting coordination, reimbursements, and workflow tracking

  • Assist with documentation, reporting, and maintenance of accurate records in line with institutional requirements

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional qualification

  • Relevant experience in administrative, operational, communications, or events coordination roles

  • Strong organisational, coordination, and time‑management skills

  • Clear written and verbal communication skills

  • Proficiency in digital tools (e.g. Microsoft Excel, collaboration and content platforms)

  • Ability to work collaboratively and manage multiple priorities effectively
