Job description
The Manpower Policy and Planning team works with multiple stakeholders to conceptualise, plan and analyse ICT and Media (ICM) manpower trends to develop strategies for the needs of the economy. To be effective in this role, you should preferably have an understanding of the ICM sector and be able to develop sound data-driven analysis to facilitate policy making.

What you will be working on

As a policy officer, you will spend your time:

  • Analysing employment data and trends;

  • Researching labour market developments;

  • Conducting industry engagements to gather feedback and help support companies’ manpower needs;

  • Developing manpower policies with a data-driven approach;

  • Collaborating within and across public agencies to formulate policy and enable seamless execution of manpower initiatives.

What we are looking for

  • Keen interest in public policy formulation and implementation;
  • Strong critical thinking skills;
  • Strong writing and verbal communication skills;
  • Experience in data analytics and visualisation tools;
  • Strong interpersonal and networking skills;
  • 2 – 3 years work experience in public policy or data analytics.
