Assistant Manager/Manager (Application Service Ops Section) – Contract

[What the role is]

You will provide specialist technical support for the design, implementation and operationalisation of Choa Chu Kang Operations Department (CCKOD)’s digital asset mapping and operational intelligence platforms. The role focuses on hands on system build, data management and analytics enablement to support day to day operational decision making.

[What you will be working on]

You will be responsible for the following:

• Design and implement a centralised database architecture for asset information.
• Lead asset surveys and digitalisation efforts across a large scale operational complex.
• Support the development and implementation of geospatial mapping platforms and visualisation tools.
• Configure digital mapping tools, dashboards and mobile access solutions for operational users.
• Establish data governance frameworks, data standards and quality assurance protocols.
• Conduct system testing, troubleshooting and performance optimisation activities.
• Develop training materials and provide technical guidance and support to operational officers.
• Monitor system performance and support operational data analysis and reporting.
• Collaborate closely with fellow officers to support the setup and operationalisation of the operations command centre.
• Perform the role of reviewing officer, responsible for contract review and budget oversight.

[What we are looking for]

Requirements:

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Information/ Infocomm Technology, Computer or Electronics Engineering or related discipline
• Relevant experience in geospatial mapping, data management, system implementation or analytics‑related work.
• Strong technical aptitude in databases, dashboards and digital tools (e.g. mapping or analytics platforms).
• Good analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Able to work independently on technical tasks while supporting broader project objectives.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Comfortable working with operational stakeholders and supporting system adoption.
