Job Responsibilities:

•    Leading the strategic evaluation and establishment of new overseas banking branches and subsidiaries ,as well as providing centralized oversight and coordination for the ongoing management of our existing international operations. 
•    Conduct Feasibility studies for establishing new overseas banking branches. Develop and manage end-to-end establishment process. Coordinate closely with internal stakeholders. Oversee the logistical and operational setup phases of new entities.
•    Centralized oversight and daily management coordination. 
o    Ensure smooth delivery of business, operational, and regulatory objectives for overall development of overseas branches.  
o    Manage and coordinate major cross-functional initiatives undertaken by BU/SUs in overseas branches.
o    Escalate any major issues pertaining to overseas branches to senior management for attention and remedial actions.
o    Establish close working relationship with all relevant internal and external stakeholders, including CNCB and all BU/SUs in Head Office and overseas branches of CNCBI.
o    Manage the dissemination of CEO Office messages and directions to overseas branches to ensure bank-wide alignment. 
•    Manage team and provide guidance to staff in achieving departmental objectives.
•    Comply with all company policies and regulatory requirements in carrying out the above objectives.

Requirements:

1.    Education Qualification
•    Degree holder in Business, Finance or related discipline 
 

2.    Working Experiences
•    Minimum 12 years’ relevant experience in financial services industry with exposure to overseas markets.
 

3.    Professional Qualification / HKMA Enhanced Competency Framework Qualification / Professional Examination / License 
•    N/A

4.   Business Knowledge
•    Understand the industry, market developments and trends in all of the Bank’s major markets (PRC, HK, Macau, Singapore, and US).
•    Understand the operating model, features, and transactional mechanisms of banking business.
•    Strong understanding on the Bank’s policies, governance frameworks, procedures, practices, standards and applicable local and regional regulations to ensure quality, effective risk management and regulatory compliance.
