Assistant Director of Food & Beverages - AYANA BALI

We are looking for a highly motivated Assistant Director of Food and Beverage who will assist the Director of Food and Beverage in the efficient running of the Food and Beverage Department through planning, organizing, directing, and controlling in line with Hotel’s policies and standards whilst meeting employees, guests, and owner’s expectations.

Summary of Responsibilities:

• Assist the Director of Food and Beverage in maintaining a high standard of implementation of standard operating procedures and policy across the divisions.
• Coordinate tasks and work with other departments.
• Review, create and update SOP as required.
• Conduct training as necessary.
• Perform other duties that are assigned as necessary.

Requirements

• Eligible to work in Indonesia.
• Minimum of 5 years solid experience in Food and Beverage management and existing experience as a Food and Beverage Division Leader; experience managing large-scale multi-outlet and banqueting operations in a luxury hotel environment is preferred.
• Hands-on and committed to building strong relationships with hotel guests, outlet teams, kitchen teams, and other department heads.
• Strong business acumen and proficiency in budgeting, financial analysis, reporting, and profit and loss management.
• Excellent communication skills in English, both written and spoken.
• Ability to establish new food and beverage businesses or concepts that generate revenue to increase profitability is a plus.
• In-depth knowledge of international cuisines and experience developing food and beverage menus are preferred.
• Experience creating marketing strategies that attract new customers and retain loyal guests is a plus.
• Knowledge of competitive trends and strong operational strategy to stay ahead of the market is preferred.
• Experience using performance improvement frameworks is a plus.
• Resourceful in maintaining high-level quality products and upholding high food and beverage service standards.
• Experience with SOP development and experience designing or delivering staff training are preferred.
• Experience with OPERA and VHP is a plus.
• Bachelor's degree or Master's degree in Food & Beverage Management, Business Management, or a related field is preferred.
