Job Description
As an Accountant in the Asset Management and General Ledger team, you will support the local Accounting department by taking over various transactional activities. You will become a key partner to the business, facilitating effective decision-making through accurate information.

In your new role you will:

• Be directly involved in fixed assets transactions, intangibles and financial investments
• Be responsible for activities such as asset master data creation, asset general postings, asset disposal (retirements and sales), equipment activation, depreciation run, and monthly reporting
• Handle banking and cash-pooling transactions and reconciliations, transitory accounts monitoring/clearing, and general postings (expense accruals, etc.)
• Participate in the month-end closing procedures of the entities under our responsibility
• Be the interface with local accounting, financial controllers, and treasury
• Deliver accurate and timely data to Central Departments for legal consolidation and reporting purposes

Your Profile
With your team spirit and high-quality standards, you are able to solve problems with efficient solutions. You remain focused and goal-driven even when under pressure. Furthermore, you have excellent communication skills that allow you to cooperate successfully with all levels and functions of the organization.

You are best equipped for this task if you have:

• A degree in Accounting, Economics, Finance or similar field of studies
• 1-3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in an international and multicultural environment
• Proven experience with SAP financial software and Excel
• Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
• A proactive and detail-oriented mindset and focus on quality
• Fluency in English (mandatory). German is a plus
