Assembler- Soldering III

Our team is looking for a Assembler –Soldering III at our Chatsworth, CA office.

The Assembler- Soldering III is responsible for assembling, soldering, inspecting, testing, and repairing complex aerospace mechanical and electro-mechanical products in accordance with engineering drawings, work instructions, and quality standards. This position serves as a senior technical resource, supporting Engineering, mentoring team members, and driving continuous improvement while ensuring safe, high-quality production.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Perform precision mechanical assembly and hand soldering of complex aerospace assemblies, subassemblies, wiring, connectors, and electronic components in accordance with engineering drawings, IPC workmanship standards, and customer specifications.
  • Assemble, install, align, inspect, and verify mechanical and electro-mechanical components using hand tools, torque equipment, measuring devices, and soldering equipment while maintaining critical tolerances and workmanship standards.
  • Conduct in-process inspections, functional verification, basic testing, and troubleshooting to identify and resolve mechanical, electrical, or solder-related issues while supporting root cause analysis and corrective actions.
  • Maintain accurate production, quality, inspection, and test documentation while ensuring compliance with company procedures, IPC standards, customer requirements, and applicable aerospace quality standards.
  • Support continuous improvement by recommending enhancements to assembly methods, soldering techniques, tooling, work instructions, product quality, safety, and manufacturing efficiency.
  • Provide technical leadership by mentoring assemblers, supporting new product introductions, collaborating with Engineering and Quality, and serving as a subject matter resource for assembly and soldering best practices.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • technical or vocational training in electronics, manufacturing, or related field preferred.
  • Ability to perform with minimum supervision and directions.
