Primary Purpose
Assembler II position performs manual labor along all stations on the production line, meets labor rates and quality control with minimal supervision.

Essential Function and Responsibilities

  • Produces components by assembling parts and subassemblies
  • Operate production line equipment and hand/power tools efficiently at all workstations to assemble components.
  • Meets standard labor rates while maintaining quality standards.
  • Completes tasks directed by Plant Manager with minimal supervision.
  • Communicate & flex with co-workers to meet production goals.
  • Complete daily labor sheets and required production documentation.
  • Maintains work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follows safety regulations daily.
  • Follows technical and verbal assembly instructions.
  • May perform other duties as required and/or assigned.

Education and/or Experience:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills
  • Able to build to print at quality level
  • Manual dexterity required for using various tools and operating machinery
  • Mechanical and electrical skills (2-3 years)
  • Ability to read bill of materials and product work instructions

Physical Demands and Working Environment:

  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Exposure to moving mechanical parts
