Apply to this jobWe are seeking a safety conscious CDL Driver to join our team in Alexandria, LA. In this role, you will be responsible for operating a garbage truck on residential and/or commercial routes. The position is physically demanding and the requires the ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
Schedule:
- Monday - Friday, with occasional Saturdays
- Start time: 4 AM
- Workweek: 45-55 hours
- Typical workday: 10-11 hours
Compensation:
- Starting pay: $20/hr.
- Comprehensive benefits package including family benefits, 401(k) with dollar-for-dollar match up to 5%, vacation, and year-round overtime
Requirements:
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver’s License
- 2+ year of CDL driving experience, ASL experience is a plus
- Strong customer service skills
