Participants will record short, voice-assistant-style commands (everyday phrases, common requests, conversational prompts) to help AI systems better understand signed requests.

Responsibilities

  • Record 1,000 short videos following provided ASL or BASL prompts
  • Follow setup instructions (sitting/standing, device placement, lighting)
  • Upload videos and participate in onboarding and periodic check-ins
  • Work independently while meeting project timelines

Requirements

  • Fluent in ASL or BASL, or at least 2 semesters of college ASL
  • Use ASL or BASL daily
  • Minimum proficiency in reading and writing English
  • Access to an Apple device (iPhone, iPad, MacBook, or iMac)
  • Reliable internet connection
