Arts Instructor - Seasonal

font-style: normal; text-indent: 0"><em>.</em></strong><br></undefined><ul><li><undefined>Must be available to work special events, festivals, and recurring workshops.</undefined></li><li><undefined>Must be able to work evenings and/or nights, including weekends.</undefined></li><li><undefined>Must have some experience in business/entrepreneurial fields and visual art.</undefined></li><li><undefined>Develop, implement, and oversee a comprehensive curriculum that integrates arts education with entrepreneurship, branding, and workforce readiness.</undefined></li><li><undefined>Plan, coordinate, and lead engaging workshops in areas such as visual arts and digital media.<br></undefined></li><li><undefined>Provide mentorship and guidance to program participants, supporting skill development, portfolio creation, creative business concepts, and creative business pitches.</undefined></li><li><undefined>Establish program goals, track outcomes, and prepare reports to evaluate program effectiveness.</undefined></li><li><undefined>Coordinate and manage program logistics, including scheduling, materials, and daily operations.</undefined></li><li><undefined>Maintaining and reporting accurate records (including reports, journals, surveys, spreadsheets) of interactions with the community using computer applications such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and web-based forms</undefined></li><li><undefined>Have a valid driver's license willingness to drive our commission vehicles to various locations.</undefined></li><li><undefined>Have the ability to facilitate large group activities while maintaining composure and providing the energy to draw in and engage an audience of participants.<br></undefined></li><li><undefined>Foster an inclusive and supportive environment that encourages self-expression and teamwork.</undefined></li><li><undefined>Collaborate with parents, recreation staff, and community partners to ensure program goals align with participant needs and interests.</undefined></li><li><undefined>Manage class logistics, including attendance tracking, equipment setup, and safety compliance.</undefined></li><li><undefined>Evaluate student progress through observation, feedback, and performance assessments.</undefined></li><li><undefined>Other duties as assigned.<br></undefined></li></ul><undefined><strong>Required</strong></undefined><ul><li><undefined>Associate’s degree in Performing Arts, Visual Arts, or Business and their related fields (or equivalent combination of education and experience).</undefined></li><li><undefined>Must have at least 1 year of teaching in your artistic field.</undefined></li><li><undefined>Or an equivalent combination of education and experience totaling four (4) years of experience.</undefined></li><li><undefined>Strong communication, organizational, and classroom management skills.</undefined></li><li><undefined>Ability to adapt lessons for diverse learning styles and abilities.</undefined></li></ul><undefined><strong>Preferred</strong></undefined><ul><li><undefined>CPR/First Aid certification (or ability to obtain upon hire).</undefined></li></ul><undefined><strong>Knowledge, Skills and Abilities</strong></undefined><br><ul><li><undefined>Strong communication, organizational, and classroom management skills.</undefined></li><li><undefined>Ability to adapt lessons for diverse learning styles and abilities.<br></undefined></li></ul><strong style="color: inherit;
