Applications Engineer, Associate

Role Summary:

The Application Engineer is a technically and commercially experienced salesperson responsible for technical solutions for customers and partners in industrial and specialty applications.

Will act as a product specialist in a team and work closely with the sales, development, and other specialist departments at the site. 

Your role:

• Technical and commercial preparation of offers in the field of industrial pumps and rotating equipment.

• Support of the defined clientele in the office

• Evaluation of requests, generation of solution proposals

• Cost calculation, if necessary, in cooperation with the relevant departments

• Order acceptance, review and preparation

Your profile:

• BSC degree in Engineering

• Ideally 2 years of experience as an Application Engineer or similar position such as Sales representative, Engineer in a manufacturing company

• Working proficiency in English

• Experience in dealing with common MS Office applications

• Strong technician acumen and analytical thinking

Preferred experience/skills:

• SAP knowledge

• Experience with heavy industry
