Summary:
As an Application Support Engineer, a typical day involves acting as a software detective by proactively monitoring and diagnosing issues across various critical business systems. This role requires a dynamic approach to identifying problems, analyzing system behaviors, and ensuring smooth operation of multiple interconnected components. The position demands continuous engagement with system performance, troubleshooting complex scenarios, and maintaining the reliability and availability of essential business applications to support organizational objectives.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Coordinate cross-functional efforts to streamline issue resolution and improve system stability.
- Mentor junior team members to enhance their problem-solving capabilities and technical knowledge.
- Continuously evaluate and implement process improvements to optimize support workflows.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Databricks Unified Data Analytics Platform.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills related to data platform operations and support.
- Experience in monitoring and troubleshooting distributed data processing systems.
- Ability to work with complex system architectures and integrate multiple data components.
- Familiarity with incident management and root cause analysis techniques.
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with diverse technical teams and stakeholders.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 8 years of experience in Databricks Unified Data Analytics Platform.
- This position is based at our BDC6F - SEZ office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
