Summary:
As an Application Support Engineer, a typical day involves acting as a software detective by proactively monitoring and investigating issues across various critical business systems. This role requires dynamic problem-solving to identify root causes and implement effective solutions, ensuring the smooth operation and reliability of multiple interconnected components. The position demands continuous engagement with system performance and stability, often requiring collaboration with different teams to maintain seamless service delivery and minimize disruptions to business processes.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Lead efforts to improve system reliability and operational efficiency through innovative approaches.
- Mentor and support junior team members to foster professional growth and knowledge sharing.
- Coordinate incident response activities to ensure timely resolution and communication.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives by analyzing trends and implementing preventive measures.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Site Reliability Engineering.
- Strong knowledge of system monitoring, incident management, and root cause analysis.
- Experience with automation tools and scripting to enhance operational workflows.
- Ability to work with cloud infrastructure and understand distributed system architectures.
- Skilled in performance tuning and capacity planning to maintain system health.
- Familiarity with configuration management and deployment processes.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 7.5 years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering.
- This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
