Position: 2015-13602 - Application Services - Applications Developer
Salary: 138k-150k
Location: Washington DC
Position Description:

The successful developer will be supporting a wide variety of applications on behalf of the Sponsor. This individual will also be supporting ongoing O&M efforts and development of new applications/functionality as they arise. The developer will join a development team building web applications and web services that integrate heavily with enterprise RDBMS supporting personnel security business processes. There is an opportunity to work with a wide variety of contemporary technologies to solve an array of technical challenges.





Mandatory Skills:


1. 16 years demonstrated on-the-job experience in full life-cycle software development with the ability to define and design system architecture from complex user requirements, ability to identify and mitigate technical risk, troubleshoot and solve complex technical problems







2. 10 years demonstrated on-the-job experience in the design and implementation of web applications using Java and the JavaScript frameworks JQuery, Spring and Hibernate







3. Demonstrated on-the-job experience creating web services with REST interfaces







4. Demonstrated on-the-job experience writing database queries and procedures with SQL or PL/SQL







5. Demonstrated on-the-job experience integrating databases with an ORM Framework







6. Demonstrated on-the-job experience translating customer and system requirements into web services or applications







7. Demonstrated on-the-job experience writing UNIT tests with jUNIT







8. Demonstrated on-the-job experience with XML and HTML5







9. Demonstrated on-the-job experience with C++







10. Demonstrated on-the-job experience with version control systems GIT or SVN (preferably GIT)







11. Demonstrated on-the-job experience configuring Apache Tomcat







12. Demonstrated on-the-job experience with corporate Linux infrastructure

2. Demonstrated on-the-job experience with Microsoft Visual Studio
