We are looking for a dedicated Application Scientist (m/f/d) who combines scientific expertise with a strong sense for customer-oriented product development and application. In this role, you will carry out scientific work in the field of developing and improving products for the automated purification of nucleic acids — often in direct contact with customers

Key Responsibilities:

  • Planning, execution, and evaluation of scientific studies related to the development and optimization of products.

  • Preparation of scientific documentation, presentations, and reports.

  • Support in technical customer service.

  • Optimization of laboratory processes, methods, and protocols with regard to product performance.

  • Collaboration with interdisciplinary teams from research, product management, and engineering.

  • Support in the introduction of new technologies and laboratory equipment into development processes.

  • Ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards in the laboratory.
     

Requirements:

  • Completed Master's degree or PhD in life sciences, biochemistry, biotechnology, or related fields.

  • Experience in laboratory work and in the application of common molecular biology methods.

  • Experience with nucleic acid purification procedures and their analysis.

  • Strong analytical skills, structured working style, and problem-solving competence.

  • Excellent communication skills, especially in presenting complex content to various audiences.

  • Team player with high self-motivation and a feel for practical research.

  • Excellent English skills, both written and spoken.

  • Willingness to travel and flexibility in project-based tasks.
     

This position is available on a full-time or part-time basis.
