Partner with the best

As an Application Engineer, you'll be responsible for planning directional and horizontal wells for Drilling Services business. You'll collaborate with other functional teams. You'll ensure well analysis are accurate and the best service is provided to Baker Hughes clients.
 

As an Application Engineer - Drilling Services, you will be responsible for:

• Ensuring compliance with Manage the Job Cycle (MtJC) process.
• Working with the assigned Service Delivery Coordinator to understand the client's production objectives as well as the commercial terms.
• Planning for directional and horizontal wells, anti-collision analysis using Baker Hughes tools on a daily basis.
• Generating a plan view and graphical presentation of the directional profile.
• Performing engineering analysis such as hydraulics, torque & drag, BHA static & dynamics.
• Presenting work internally (Support Field Personals) and to customers.
• Supporting after-action reviews and root cause analysis and effectively considers project economics and profitability in design of technical solutions.
• Capturing and sharing knowledge and recommends improvements to global Drilling Services' procedures.

Fuel your passion
To be successful in this role you will:

• Have Bachelor of Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics or direct experience in related fields for Drilling Services.
• Have 3 years’ experience in Drilling System.
• Have experience in managing key clients in onshore and offshore applications.
• Have good knowledge on well planning, wellbore positioning survey and drilling engineering.
• Have advanced PC skills.
• Have great math and problem-solving skills.
• Have ability to working in both Baker Hughes’ and client’s facilities.
• Have ability to be on call outside of normal business hours.
