Job Description:
Instructor for EMS related class. Must have active State of Ohio EMS certification and Ohio EMS-I certificate to teach EMT/Paramedic class.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Knowledge of the Ohio Revised Code as it applies to EMT and Paramedic. Knowledge of the National Curriculum.
Knowledge of lesson planning/syllabi creation and other Instructor common knowledge.

Essential Functions:
Instruct courses in either EMT, Paramedic or Anatomy and Physiology for Paramedics.
Other Characteristics:
Individual must be able to work alone and in groups. Be a self starter, patient and well versed in the EMS curriculum.
Minimum Education/Experience:
High School Diploma or equivalent (G.E.D.)
Should be actively employed as a practicing EMT/Paramedic for a minimum of 5 years. Must have an Ohio Department of Public Safety EMS-I certification.
