We are looking for an experienced and highly motivated TV Lead to further grow our video business in the market. The Lead needs to be an outstanding team player and a seasoned manager with a strong commercial background, a deep understanding of video services and subscription platforms, and a comprehensive knowledge of the market. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of developing commercial strategies, negotiating complex agreements, and driving growth opportunities in a highly competitive environment.

Description

In this role, you will manage a team of Business Managers and Platform & Programming Managers that have a shared goal: to present our customers with the most engaging and relevant movies and TV shows, and provide commercially compelling offers to key partners.

Minimum Qualifications

Extensive leadership experience in the video subscription space, with a solid commercial background and ability to define long-term development strategies within a global, multi-layered organization.
Deep understanding of the value-added service ecosystem, specifically the OTT, Pay TV and ISP.
Experience working in a truly global capacity and have partnered with international teams to drive success.
Strong experience in the local video marketplace, content rights and distribution, with a view of key trends and players, through a strong local and international network.
Excellent presentation, written, and verbal communication skills, fostering collaboration and a can-do attitude.
Excellent people management skills, including setting goals, driving performance, and encouraging development.
Proficiency in both Japanese and English is required.
