Key Responsibilities
- Respond to maintenance requests and complete repairs in residential units and common areas.
- Perform general maintenance, including carpentry, painting, drywall, flooring, appliance, plumbing, and basic electrical repairs.
- Complete preventative maintenance and inspections to identify and address issues proactively.
- Prepare vacant units for occupancy.
- Maintain grounds, landscaping, and common areas, including seasonal cleanup.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and report/correct hazards.
- Maintain work orders, maintenance records, and inventory of tools and supplies.
- Provide professional customer service and respond to emergency maintenance calls as needed.
Experience
- Minimum of two (2) years of experience in apartment, residential, or commercial maintenance
Technical Skills
- Practical experience in carpentry, painting, and general building repairs
- Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems preferred
- Ability to use hand and power tools safely and effectively
Other Requirements
- Valid Driver’s License required
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Good communication and customer service skills
