Anesthesiologist opportunity with thriving anesthesia practice in Fayetteville, NC, at Cape Fear Medical Center. New Compensation just announced! Cape Fear Valley Medical Center is part of Cape Fear Valley Health System, which serves communities throughout southeastern North Carolina. The private, nonprofit healthcare system is North Carolina’s eighth-largest health network. Facilities include Betsy Johnson Hospital, Bladen County Hospital, Central Harnett Hospital, Highsmith-Rainey Specialty Hospital, and Hoke Hospital. Responsibilities
• Case assignments: Cardiac, pediatrics, OB-GYN, general, plastics, urology, vascular
• Assist in the directing and coordinating of activities in the Anesthesia Department
• Responsible for the medical management of patients who are rendered unconscious and/or insensible to pain and emotional stress during surgery and other medical procedures
• Pre-anesthesia assessment
• Obtains and/or verifies patient consent
• Discuss anesthetic options and risks with the patient
• Induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia
• Monitoring of the patient's physiological condition
• Performance of clinical intervention as needed

Requirements
• Schedule: In-house call 4 times a month. Weekend duty.
• M.D./D.O. Degree from an accredited College of Medicine
• ECFMG and FLEX
• Completion of approved residency in anesthesia
• Currently licensed as a physician

New Compensation package: $525K
Sign-on Incentives (Bonus, Training Assistance, or Loan Repayment): $100K
Relocation Bonus: up to $10K
