FTE: 0.5, Shift: Day, Schedule: M-F 40 hrs a pp_

Position Summary

The Anesthesia Technician/Technologist is responsible for procurement, maintenance, availability of supplies and equipment pertaining to anesthesia care; assisting professional nursing staff and anesthesiologists during the intubation and extubation phases of anesthesia; assisting in preparation and placement of special invasive and non-invasive lines/procedures; and providing room turnover for anesthesia and in any other areas of the procedure or operating room, as time and skill allow.

Requirements:

  • Graduation from an accredited anesthesia technician/technologist program preferred
  • Current certification as an Anesthesia Technician through the American Society of Anesthesia Technicians and Technologists (ASATT) or, CNA, MA or EMT certification preferred.
  • One year of experience in an Anesthesia Tech position in lieu of certification may be considered
  • BLS Certification required

Pay and Benefit Expectations

We provide a comprehensive benefits package, including competitive salary, medical, dental and retirement benefits and paid time off. As required by various pay transparency laws, we share a competitive range of compensation for candidates hired into each position. The pay scale is $22.37 - $33.77 USD. However, pay is influenced by factors specific to applicants, including but not limited to: skill set, level of experience, and certification(s) and/or education. If this position is associated with a union contract, pay will be reflective of the appropriate step on the pay scale to which the applicant’s years of experience align.
