The systems range from basic business systems to user applications for iPhone / Android. The systems are open architectures and we are also actively adopting open source technology. We are looking for a Smartphone Native Application Engineer for Rakuten Bank due to business growth. If you have the right experience and excellent  skills, you may also be tasked as a Lead Engineer. 

Position Details 

• Lead in the area of engineering from application design of new functions and services, development, testing to rollout

• Understand business requirements, and deliver features with high quality and speed 

• Lead to maintain and improve the service levels 

• Smooth negotiation and coordination with internal and external venders

Mandatory Qualifications: 

• Development experience of Android or iOS native apps (5 years or more) 

• Development experience using various tools such as Android Studio, Gradle, Xcode and Git (3 years or more) 

• Knowledge and experience with up-to-date front-end technologies 

• Experience in being responsible to secure non-functional requirements such as performance, security, productivity 

• Excellent logical thinking ability, flexibility and multitasking resistance 

• Proactive and initiative 

Desired Qualifications: 

• Coding experience for applications that communicate with the servers using Web APIs

• Business application design experience in financial systems 

• Development experience of services for end-user 

• Development experience of Web applications 

• Distributed development experience 

• Agile development experience 

• Development experience using CI (Continuous Integration) 

• Lead engineer experience
