Android Developer

iScale Solutions works with technology companies to effectively scale their development, support and operations processes.

We are looking for our first android developer that will be leading the full implementation of
our first technologies. The ideal person should be able to start a project from scratch,
collaborate with our team members to set up timeline and delivery objectives and develop all
the required front-end experience.

You will be helped in the first project by a Senior Full Stack Backend Developer that will take
care of the overall infrastructure of the project and the development of the APIs that will
enable you to plug the app into our backend.

• 3 years of Android development experience
• Fluent in English (spoken / written)
• Ability to understand customer requirements and translate them exactly in Android front-end experiences
• Demonstrated experience in learning the fast evolving Android development environment
• Experience in dealing with international and multicultural situations involving different types of clients and partners
• Understanding of ecosystems of companies, products, and stakeholders in the tech and digital space
• Manage project life-cycle, including breaking requirements down into technical deliverables and estimating the work required
• Ability to work with development teams in multiple locations

Technical skills:

• Expert in latest Android SDK
• Strong experience in using GitHub required
• Ability to manage and deploy Android Apps
• Experience in integrating modern app tracking tools a big plus
• Expertise in handling complex app notifications required
• Expertise in deep linking required
• Experience in iOS development a plus
• Strong experience in integrating RESTful API
