Analytics Engineer

Join our Solution Test & Release (ST&R) team as an Analytics Engineer! 
We develop advanced analytics and automation tools that enhance feedback loops to design, simplify complex testing environments, and bring innovative ideas to life. 

In our IMS Network System Test (NWST) team, you'll help shape the quality of cloud-native IMS solutions by building frameworks that support system testing, data analysis, and visualization. We're working with modern technologies and exploring AI/ML to drive innovation and support CI/CD use cases across the organization. 

What you will do: 

• Develop the DA Architecture and evolve it to meet future use cases 

• Develop DA/ML applications on top of the DA architecture to support various use cases supporting system testing of CN IMS 

• Close cooperation and understanding of project and verification team needs 

• Follow and contribute in Ericsson DA/ML/AI programs 

The skills you bring: 

• A Bachelor’ degree in Computer Science, or equivalent experience, skilled in GNU/Linux 

• Experience in scripting and programming with main development language Java and preferably Python 

• Managing code in compilation, review and repository tools (Git, Gerrit, Maven) 

• Docker, Kubernetes, Kustomize and Microservice architecture experience 

• Strong technical knowledge and background in Analytics domain covering Databases, SQL, Big Data, Data Engineering and Data Science 

• Hands-on experience with data management technologies (e.g. Prometheus, Mimir, Clickhouse, ElasticSearch) 

• IP/Networking knowledge and IMS signaling experience and troubleshooting of networking and applications 

• Hands-on experience of larger implementation (e.g. Spark, Zeppelin, Grafana) 

• Architecture of message buses using Kafka 

• Collaborative team player, able to work across geographies and cultures as well as across organizations and passion for innovation, technology and simplification 

• Customer focus 

• Fluent in English (spoken and written) 

Nice to have 

• Experience working with Telecom-generated data (e.g. PM, FM, CM, logging, traces, subscriber-base events) 

• Knowledge around Data Preparation processes for further statistical modeling and ML Algorithms training 

• Knowledge of Ericsson products and solutions in DA area like ADP is preferred
