As an Analog Mixed-Signal Verification Engineer, you will contribute to the further development of mixed-signal and digital verification methodologies and tools, including emerging AI-assisted approaches, to further improve the IFX IC design development flow.
In your new role, you will:
- Align with internal customers (developers) world-wide and EDA vendors to understand the requirements of next generation products and initiate strategic projects to prepare Infineon for future verification challenges
- Contribute to verification efficiency and effectiveness by standardization, innovation and reuse, and the exploration of AI applications in verification
- Generate, maintain and execute technical trainings in your area of responsibility
- Consult and guide internal developers locally in all kinds of verification issues.
Your Profile
As a detail-orientated and analytical thinker, you excel in a fast-paced environment. Your strong problem-solving skills and autonomous work style enables you to drive results, innovate and collaborate within a global team.
You are best equipped for this task if you have:
- A degree in Electronic Engineering, Microelectronics, or equivalent field of studies
- At least 3 years of experience in the verification of IC designs
- Basic knowledge of EDA tools for verification (Cadence AMS-Designer / XCelium, Synopsys VCS/XA)
- Knowledge of HDL languages (focus on SystemVerilog)
- The ability to write SystemVerilog based real-number models and for analog mixed-signal blocks is a plus
- Ability to implement and test scripts (Python, Perl, Shell)
- Basic understanding of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning concepts and their potential applications in the semiconductor industry
- An independent and autonomous working style, with the ability to collaborate effectively within an international team
- Fluency in English.
