American Diploma English Teacher - August 2026

Westview International Language School is seeking a dedicated and experienced American Diploma English Teacher to join our educational team. This role involves delivering high-quality instruction aligned with the American Diploma curriculum to support students’ academic achievement and personal growth.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging and effective English language lessons following the American Diploma standards.
• Develop lesson plans and instructional materials that meet curriculum objectives and cater to various learning styles.
• Assess and evaluate student performance regularly through tests, assignments, and projects, providing constructive feedback.
• Create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment that fosters student participation and academic excellence.
• Collaborate with colleagues to enhance curriculum delivery and contribute to curriculum development initiatives.
• Communicate effectively with parents regarding student progress, achievements, and areas for improvement.
• Participate in professional development activities to stay current with subject knowledge and teaching methodologies.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in English, Education, or a related field.
• Relevant teaching certification and experience in delivering the American Diploma curriculum.
• Strong command of English language and literature with the ability to inspire and engage students.
• Experience teaching high school students preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with students, parents, and colleagues.
• Knowledge of current educational best practices and innovative teaching strategies.
• Commitment to ongoing professional growth and teamwork.
