The team you will be a part of

The Sales Strategy and Business Operations team is responsible for planning of all sales activities. Researches and analyzes the organization's existing and targeted customers to develop a knowledge base of sales trends. Plans and coordinates projects to improve the operational efficiency and effectiveness of the sales force.

This role in summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Amazon Commercial Support Analyst to join our thriving e-commerce team. In this crucial role, you will provide comprehensive analytical and operational support to our Pan-European Amazon Account Managers, playing a vital part in driving our success on the Amazon platform across various European marketplaces. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong analytical skills, a passion for e-commerce, and a desire to contribute to significant business growth.

On-site 5 days in the office. 

Your responsibilities will include

Data Analysis & Reporting:

  • Extract, analyze, and interpret large datasets from Amazon Vendor Central (or Seller Central, if applicable) including sales performance, traffic, conversion rates, advertising data, inventory levels, and customer reviews.
  • Develop and maintain regular reporting dashboards and presentations for the Account Managers, highlighting key trends, opportunities, and risks.
  • Conduct deep-dive analyses to identify root causes of performance fluctuations and provide actionable insights.
  • Monitor and report on competitor activity and market trends within Amazon's European marketplaces.

Operational Support:

  • Assist Account Managers with new product listings, content optimization (A+ Content, product descriptions, keywords), and catalog management across multiple Amazon EU locales.
  • Support the creation and optimization of Amazon advertising campaigns (AMS/DSP) under the guidance of Account Managers or dedicated advertising specialists.
  • Monitor inventory health and forecast demand to ensure optimal stock levels and minimize out-of-stock situations or excess inventory.
  • Help resolve operational issues such as chargebacks, missing shipments, or listing errors by liaising with Amazon support and internal teams.
  • Support the preparation for key Amazon events and promotional periods (e.g., Prime Day, Black Friday).

Strategic & Commercial Support:

  • Collaborate with Account Managers to prepare for business reviews with Amazon, compiling data and insights.
  • Identify opportunities for sales growth and profitability improvement, presenting data-backed recommendations.
  • Assist in evaluating the performance of promotional activities and their impact on overall sales.
  • Help track and report on key commercial agreements and terms with Amazon.

Cross-functional Collaboration:

  • Work closely with internal teams including Supply Chain, Marketing, Finance, and Product Development to ensure seamless operations and strategic alignment.
  • Act as a central point of contact for data queries related to Amazon performance.

Minimum requirements

  • 1-3 years of experience in an analytical or support role within an e-commerce environment, preferably with direct experience supporting Amazon (Vendor Central experience highly advantageous).
  • Proven strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables, advanced formulas are a must).
  • Experience with other data visualization tools (e.g. Google Suites) is a plus.
  • Familiarity with Amazon Vendor Central (or Seller Central) dashboards and reporting.
  • Understanding of key e-commerce metrics (e.g., conversion rate, traffic, ACOS, ROAS, sell-through).
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present complex data clearly to non-technical audiences.
  • Highly organized, proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and a continuous improvement mindset.
  • Fluency in English is essential. Knowledge of other European languages (e.g. German, French, Spanish, Italian) is a significant advantage.

Preferred skills and experiences

  • Experience with Amazon Advertising platforms (AMS/Ad Console, DSP).
  • Familiarity with inventory planning tools or ERP systems.
  • Project management experience.
