Algotale- Workday Extend Developer

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Workday Extend Developer to support a prominent US-based client. In this role, you will be instrumental in enhancing the client’s HR digital experience by designing, building, and supporting custom Workday web pages and applications. You will leverage Workday Extend to create tailored user interfaces and develop custom integrations that align perfectly with the client's unique HR business requirements.

Key Responsibilities

 Application Development: Design, build, and deploy custom applications and web pages within the Workday ecosystem using Workday Extend.

 Custom Integrations: Develop and maintain custom integrations and backend code to connect Workday Extend applications with existing Workday data and external systems.

 Requirements Translation: Collaborate closely with US-based stakeholders to understand complex HR business needs and translate them into functional, user-friendly Extend applications.

 System Support & Maintenance: Provide ongoing support, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement for deployed Workday Extend apps and custom web pages.

 Technical Documentation: Author and maintain comprehensive technical specifications, process flows, and documentation for all custom builds and integrations.

Required Skills & Qualifications

 Workday Extend Expertise: Proven, hands-on experience developing custom applications using Workday Extend (App Builder, Page Builder, Developer Site).

 Technical Proficiency: Strong understanding of Workday Query Language (WQL), Workday REST APIs, JSON, and web development principles.

 Integration Capabilities: Experience building custom integrations (using Workday Studio, Core Connectors, or Enterprise Interface Builder) to support complex data flows.

 HR Domain Knowledge: A solid grasp of Workday HCM fundamentals, business process frameworks, and security models to ensure custom apps adhere to best practices.

 Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively gather requirements and present solutions to cross-functional teams and US clients.

 Shift Alignment: Ability to work efficiently in a fully remote environment while strictly adhering to the 1:00 PM - 10:30 PM IST schedule.
